The Trustees of Camberley Care Trust last changed the suggested donation for the car service back in 2017. Since then, our costs have risen significantly, and we have therefore increased the suggested donation as of November 1st 2023.

We understand that any increase in costs can be a burden for our clients and their families. However, we believe that the proposed increase is fair and reasonable, given the rising costs that we face. Even after the increase, our car service still represents good value when compared to commercial taxi services, not to mention the extra care and attention that our wonderful volunteer drivers provide.

We are committed to providing the best possible service to our clients, and we believe that this increase in the suggested donation will help us to do so. The suggested donation for a single return will be increased to £10 and £15 for a double return. Trips to Frimley Park Hospital will now be £15. For out of area trips, we will be increasing the donation dependant on the mileage e.g. currently a trip of 10 miles has a suggested donation of £12 for a single return and £24 for a double. From 1^st November this will be £14 for a single return and £28 for a double return.
