New #CommunitySpiritShow

Nice little mention on this new web show with Paul Deach and Sean Usher. They’re going to be speaking to different charities over the weeks about helping to improve people’s lives. Please tune in and encourage your friends to too!

Watch this space for more on Camberley Care 😊🔉

Thank you for donation

Thank you ever so much to Sainsbury’s Community Budget for the £125 donation we recently received and to our volunteer driver Roy Barnley for promoting us! Things like this really make all the difference and help us to continue helping those we can 😊🚗

Two lovely thank you notes

Lovely couple of Thank You notes we’ve received recently:

“Camberley Care,

I cannot thank Michael, your handyman, enough. He has done several jobs for me and all have been done efficiently, tidily and with a pleasant manner. Thank you Camberley Care and a big “thank you” to Michael”

“Dear Camberley Care,

Many thanks to all the “telephone ladies” and all the drivers for all the kindness and help you have given me over the last few years”

We absolutely love getting notes like these. Everyone who works for us does so much, it’s lovely to know it’s appreciated 💜

Thank you to St Michael’s Church

Thank you very much to St Michael’s Church, Camberley for their very generous donation to Camberley Care of £280. Donations like this help us carry on providing the subsidised support we do.

Thanks again; your ongoing support is greatly appreciated.

New van for handyman :)

Thanks to the generosity of several donors,we have recently been able to acquire a new van for the use of our Handyman Michael Chambers. Our previous van was over eleven years old and looking a bit worn. Don’t forget that no job is too small and that we run the only subsidised secure handyman service throughout Surrey Heath.

Caring drivers always needed

We’re always on the lookout for more volunteer drivers. It provides an immense level of satisfaction to be able to help people less able than yourself, is greatly appreciated by the people you help and the community at large and can be as flexible as you like to fit in with your busy life (I do know, my Dad is one of Camberley Care’s drivers 😀).

Please contact us via phone or email and please share our lovely article from the Star Courier. Sharing is caring. Thanks!

Surrey Heath Volunteer Awards 2015

Congratulations to our hard working driver Bob Cousins on being awarded a lifetime achievement award at the inaugural event jointly hosted by Volunteer Support North Surrey and Surrey Heath Borough Council yesterday. Congratulations Bob! 🌠

Thank you to Bob and all our volunteer drivers for the time and effort they put in on behalf of Camberley Care.

Thanks to Cllr Paul Deach for the photo.

Thank you note

Received this lovely little note from Rose about the excellent work carried out by our handyman, Michael.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any little jobs around the house that you would like some help with.

Thank you lady golfers

As the sun is shining and warm it seems an excellent opportunity to reminisce about the splendid tea party at which the lady members of Camberley Heath Golf Club so generously donated to Camberley Care last May to enable our clients to celebrate our 40th anniversary.

That donation had a value of £710.00 and thet have recently sent us another £290.00 thus making a magnificent total of £1000.00 for which we are all extremely grateful.

On behalf of all associated with Camberley Care a huge “thank you “
